"Finds" is a page about seeing beauty in unexpected places. It's about salvaging scraps of interest and excitement and unpredictablity from the world around me.
Mad props, of course, to Found magazine for creating a culture of finders all around the country. Found rocks, and is absolutely an inspiration.
This "Finds" page is a collection not just of found notes and photos (though I love those, and they'll certainly appear here when I stumble across them); I'm also trying to collect pieces of the world around me that strike me as interesting, whether that's a rusted sign on a shop window in South Philly, a lichen-covered tree stump in Maine, or a Hell Bank Note lying in the gutter on Tenth Street.
