okay, still testing, but...
how can I restrain myself from posting when I'm spending so much time working on the page? Tonight: the top menu bar with its little links. Soon: getting the magazines, finds and projects pages actually set up so there's something to link to.
It's waaaaay too late at night, and we're off in the morning to Minneapolis for the weekend. There's this urge to stay up really late the night before a trip -- like it doesn't count, somehow, this time. I always tell myself "I'll sleep on the flight," but I rarely do. Late at night, though, I can't seem to get myself to care about pesky little details like how much waking up in four and a half hours is gonna suck.

testing, testing.
So I'm just starting this here website. If you've happened upon it somehow, welcome, but there's not much to see here yet.
But here's the quick explanation: the other night I opened up a box of my old magazine collection that I hadn't looked at for a couple years -- issues of Seventeen and All Story Love and Cosmopolitan from the 1930s through 1970s. And basically, I decided there was just way too much cool stuff in it to just let it keep gathering dust on the bottom shelf of my bookcase.
One of my favorites is this issue of a magazine called Exciting Confessions from 1964. And the website was hence born. Come on back later and check out more of the site.
